I hated it when I was a child. But I don't mind it so much now. I sort of like the song :)
I gotta tell you, I grew up with a Robin as well and yeah, we sang that song to her A LOT - BUT, she loved it! :D
My son actually asked me to put this song on his ipod last year, he is still an MJ fan!
