VA's Aid and Attendance Benefit

This is the NBC Nightly News video about the VA Aid and Attendance benefit.


We just spent the afternoon outside, YES! OUTSIDE! It turned into a beautiful day here after a questionable start. Mom sat on the patio and soaked up some sun and good company with our neighbors and Mom's favorite puppies Satine and Mr. Bailey. I'm ready for a whole string of days like this. Mom is now napping with a smile on her face. I think the fresh air and company wore her out.

We spent the afternoon outside too. It was glorious! We walked the driveway several times, so I am hoping that will help with the full moon restlessness tonight.

Ahhh. That explains the restlessness that Mom had last night - the full moon. She had me up several times.

I looked into this for my mom, too. My understanding is that this Aid and Attendance benefit can take forever to obtain. If I were you, I'd get on it ASAP. Good luck, I hope it comes through for you.
