Today I convinced them to get Mom up out of bed. She had had enough of lolling there I think. I had received a call from CB at 12:30 AM. Seems Mom did not want to be alone and would yell and scream when left so. I told them to sit with her then. And she might also be hungry. At lunch I went and fed her. She ate all of her yogurt and some of her chicken, vegetables and mashed potatoes. She said she didn't like the hot meal. I left her enjoying the company of some of the other residents. I hope she had a pleasant day.

i hear you. you are doing all you can. do you know that? do you?
i hope you have a good week, robyn.
I'm glad they got her out of bed. I think it's important to get them around other people and get that socialization. I'm sure she enjoyed it.
It is a difficult disease regardless where it is lived out. There is lots of not knowing what to do or which way to turn or who to ask.
You're doing a wonderful job.
Rick, sometimes I'm not sure. I think I should be superhuman then I remember that she herself told me not to worry years ago.
Lori and Flinty, thanks for always being there for me.
Trust your heart, Robyn, it will never let you down. I too hope that your Mom had a good day.
I'm glad the UTI is clearing up. It seems to take so much out of them. Mom goes into more depression when she has these. I was told that antibiotics react that way with some of the elderly. She really is where she needs to be but I know you're hurting and lonely for her. Getting her back to moving around will help her. (((Robyn)))
