Mom fell out of bed again last night around midnight. This time she was able to get up and back into bed on her own. And she was laughing. She doesn't seem to be hurt and this morning, she remembered the incident and laughed again about it. Don't ask me how someone who sleeps in a king sized bed can possibly run out of room, roll over and fall out. She sleeps on the edge. I really think that UTI took it's toll on Mom and now she is feeling lots better.
She was emotional about the day program yesterday when I got home but she said it was better than sitting around the house all by herself. On Monday they are going swimming, which she loves.

Dad had a queen size before the hospital bed and he slept right on the edge. He fell out a time or two. He pretty much sleeps the same way in the hospital bed.
That's good that she remembered and was able to get back in bed. Also good about the center.
I'm glad she wasn't hurt falling out of bed. I used to fall out of bed all the time when I was a kid.
So how often will mom attend the day center? It sounds like she really enjoyed the interraction and activities. I'm happy for both of you.
I just heard from Joyce, she said Mom seemed in pain this AM when she picked her up. Also, Mom was still in bed when she got there and Joyce had to knock on the window.
hopefully no delayed affects from falling out of bed. glad to hear she likes daycare.
I am hoping the pain is just some soreness and will go away. Hope all is well today.
