Now playing: Carrie Underwood - I'll Stand By You
via FoxyTunes

This morning's sunrise was glorious. The sun illuminated a patch of clouds and sunbeams were radiating from it.

Mom slept all day I think. She was tired from 2 full days in a row at the day program. She was groggy when I called to check in this afternoon.

It has been a busy and stressful week both at home and at work. Mom is going back to the day program on Monday, they are going swimming and I think she will like that, and Wednesday. I talked to the director and she was both OK and upset while there. But then who wouldn't be, it was all new to her. Add in the confusion and it must have been really difficult for her. Hopefully it will become routine for her soon.

Tomorrow I have an interview which starts at 8:00 AM and is supposed to finish up at 1:30 PM. I hope it goes well.

Good luck with your interview. It sure is a long one!

I'm glad your mom seems to be adjusting to the day center. Is she still sore from her fall out of bed?

I forgot to mention that Carrie Underwood is from Checotah, OK. I have a CD but for some reason I don't listen to it that often. Toby Keith went to my high school - of course a long time after I did - and he and his family still live near us.

Just some worthless trivia.

I LOVE TOBY KEITH! I think he is my all time favorite. I'm envious. :)

I like Carrie Underwood. She does a great job with this song and I think it's better than the original version by Chrissy Hynde.

My interview was exhausting but I think it went well. We shall see. The company has values that I share; they give back to the community and their work is for the common good. They make clinical laboratory instruments as well as the tests that go along with the instruments.

Nine Years and Counting
